  • How do I register for class?
The full class fee is required to register for class. You
register in person or by phone ( 703-492-2323).

  • What are the class policies?
Class reservations require a deposit.
Students receive 10% off all purchases the day of class.
Students canceling at least 48 hours prior to class will
receive a class credit, minus a $5 administration fee.
Classes with less than 2 registered students may be
canceled by the instructor. These students will receive
a refund or class credit.
Walk-ins are welcome. However, there is a minimum
number of students required to hold the class and a
maximum number of seats. To avoid disappointment, it
is best to register in advance.

  • Do I really need to register ahead of time?  Yes, for the
    best opportunity to take a class you should register in
    advance.

  • Do you allow walk-ins for classes? Yes, so long as
    there is a class and there is space available. We have a
    minimum number to hold the class and maximum number
    of seats.

  • Is there a minimum age?  No, anyone interested in
    beading is welcome!

  • How can I get the most out of my class?  
Be on time and come ready to learn!
Reduce any potential distractions or interruptions for
the duration of class.
Classes usually do not take any breaks because they
are only a couple of hours.
Wearing fragrances can aggravate allergies or cause
others discomfort, please refrain from wearing
perfumes, colognes and heavily scented lotions.

  • Could I bring others with me while I take the class?  
    We only have space for our students and instructor in the
    class area.

  • What are the return policies?  We can exchange or give
    store credit for items returned as purchased. For example,
    in same packaging with labels intact. Exchanges or store
    credit must be made within 30 days with a receipt. We can
    not accept returns on stringing materials, wire, cut items,
    publications, seed beads, trunk show purchases, or
    custom orders. We do not offer refunds.

  • What are the Do-it-Yourself  "DIY" policies?
You may use our table to work on your projects as long
as there are no classes scheduled.
Store assistance may be available. If you are interested
in instruction, please look at our class calendar.
Some tools are available for use, or you can bring your
own.
You may bring your own materials, if desired.

  • Do you sell wholesale and what is required for Tax Exempt?  We are a retail store but can offer tax-exempt
    status to our customers who are in the jewelry-making
    business and have an Form ST-10 on file with us.

  • Do you offer a discount program?  Customers on our
    mailing list receive coupons and notices of specials. You
    can sign up on the front page of the website.

  • What are the Party policies?

  • Where in the store is the party held? During your party, the store will be yours along with an experienced beader
    to provide individualized assistance.

  • How many can I have at a party? While we can set up
    space for up to 12 participants, consider that there will be
    one instructor to help with your projects. Please discuss
    this when arranging your party.

  • Can we bring food and cake?  Yes, but be sure to bring
    all the necessary supplies and utensils.

  • How long do parties last? Projects take about an hour to
    an hour and a half to complete. If you want to include food
    with your celebration, you may want to allow for extra time.

  • Can we bring music?  We can support devices that has
    an aux jack.  We are unable to support CD or DVDs, and
    you should bring your own portable radio if this medium is
    desired.
